Nutrition Plans
- General health and fitness: A
nutritional plan and a workout regime will be developed based on each
individual’s personal goals and abilities. All nutritional plans are developed
to meet each individual’s goals in a way that the person will be able to be
successful. No nutritional plan can work if the individual is incapable of
sticking to it. Take into consideration that no nutritional plan and/or diet
will be successful if the individual is unable to follow the plan; therefore,
our goal is to develop a plan that works for you. Our philosophy is simple:
choose the most nutritionally dense foods you can and make practical
supplementation and lifestyle choices. The rest is up to you. There is no
substitute for hard work and dedication.
Whether you are just trying to lose weight or adapting to a completely different
lifestyle, whether your goal is to fit into a particular size or you would like
to start training to become a national fitness, figure or bodybuilding
competitor, MFT Sports is for you. A certified Weight Management Consultant will
develop a nutritional and supplementation program that will assist you in
obtaining your health, fitness or competitive goals. Cost for this program starts at $40 and
up for this 60 minute program.
There are two
laws of fat loss and gain that CANNOT be broken:
Eat more food calories than you burn and you will gain weight
Eat less food calories than you burn and you will lose weight
This seems simple enough, but you'd be amazed at the number of diet plans that will try and tell you otherwise. These diet plans will also tell you that their plan is the BEST way to lose weight: High Carb, Low Carb, High Protein, Low Fat, High Fat, diet with exercise, and some consisting of just diet. There is no one best way for everyone to lose body fat.
There are thousands of books, articles and studies dealing with human weight gain or loss. That's where I come in. My knowledge and experience can help you set up a plan to help you meet your goals (maybe even exceed them).
No single weight loss plan works for everyone. Everybody is different. Some tall, some short, some curly hair, some straight, some are extroverts, some are introverts. So why would weight loss be any different? If a plan isn’t something you can stick to, then it won’t work, regardless of how effective it might be otherwise. Body weight control also has more than one variable. Just to name a few, there’s appetite control, bad eating habits, lack of exercise, metabolic rate, weight sand set point. Your problem could be any one of these, or possibly even several of them. The secret is to find your problem and fix it. PERMANENTLY!!!!
Did you know?
Certain types of exercise will cause your body to burn fat for up to 36 hours after the workout ends, while conventional cardiovascular work (treadmill, lifecycle, aerobics) will only burn fat for a couple of minutes after the workout ends.
Each area of your body has different types of fat cells, which react differently to different types of exercise and diet.
Different types of exercise effect your body's hormone levels differently, which in turn, directly effect body fat levels.
Looking good can have as much to do with posture and muscle balance/imbalance as it does with actual weight loss.
Certain types of dietary fats will help your body lose fat and retain muscle. Not all fats are bad!
